Made in Italy and designed by Doshi Levien for Moroso, the Paper Plane High Back Armchair is a functional sculpture, with comfortable and welcoming seating which is both durable and light, and seemingly gravity-defying. Paper Planes originated from a fabric design based around graph paper: its shape comes from the folding and modeling of paper as an exploration of form and structure, to create angles, lines and polygons. Its seeming simplicity demands masterful sartorial skill: the lines of the fabric must be perfectly aligned with the geometry of the chair which means that there is no room for error.

These chairs are constructed of injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over internal steel frame. The base is square tubular steel with a matt coat finish.

Don’t wait 20 weeks. They are in very good second-hand condition with normal wear and tear.
