Henk Stallinga is a Dutch contemporary artist and designer. His work is in the collections of international museums including The Museum of Modern Art New York, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Cooper Hewitt Museum New York and The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Stallinga frequently uses parts of mass produced, everyday items and industrial processes to build his conceptual multimedia installations and sculptures. A minimalistic visual language, light, sound, and movement are recurring elements in his work. Steng Licht from Germany has been producing quality lighting solutions and artistic collaborations since 1911. The Lumelennium pendant by Hank Stallinga for Steng Licht is a reinvention of a traditional chandelier. A suspended glass bowl holds 200 clear E27 light bulbs of which 15 are connected to power, creating a distinctive and unique ambience, sure to be a talking point. Recommended retail price c$3500.
