Antique French cabinet or armoire. A pale green chalky background with decorative filigree relief mouldings in washed copper red. The doors have mesh wire inserts. This sensational cabinet bears the date 1905 and the name ‘ANNAORE’ perhaps denoting a wedding year and name of the newlyweds. The interior has cream painted shelves with chinoisserie themed fabric. A very striking piece that is decorative in itself and could be used, for example, for storing linens, clothing or crockery & glassware.
