Vitra Polder Sofa. Designed in 2005 by Dutch designer Hella Jongerius for Vitra. The Polder is recognisable for its uneven shapes, tonal colours and and large decorative buttons which all add to its particular and distinctive style. The Polder accentuates the horizontal form and the asymmetry of the armrests and back cushions reference the Dutch landscape. This sofa, in various wool fabric textures (Kvadrat fabric) in muted shades of grey, charcoal, burgundy, moss and brown is the original iconic design from Vitra. Horn buttons with red thread on the back. Long and low with headrest bolster and soft cushioning. The covers have marks that would benefit from professional cleaning. One seat cushion has been patched with same fabric. The front foam within the cover has separated from the frame – needs repair. This sofa can easily be restored to its original condition. This is your chance to own a piece of iconic design with wow factor from internationally renowned maker Vitra.
