Vitra Panton chair in white, two available, selling separately. The iconic Panton Chair is immediately recognisable as a wonderful example of great furniture design. Conceived by Danish designer Verner Panton in 1960 it was put into production by Vitra in 1967. It was the first chair to be made completely out of plastic in one single piece. Since 1999 it has been produced with durable, dyed-through plastic with a lustrous matt finish. The combination of a cantilever structure with an anthropomorphic shape and a slightly flexible material results in a supremely comfortable chair. It can be used for indoor and outdoor environments. It has received numerous international design awards and is present in the collections of many prominent museums. Recommended retail price $595
