Fritz Hansen FH4355 Armchair and Footstool designed by Arne Jacobsen in the 1960s. Known as the St Catherine, this armchair and footstool set are upholstered in black 100% wool fabric, with maker’s mark and date stamped 1987. In good vintage condition, wear in fabric as pictured (corner of footstool and back of chair). The wood (most likely oak) has some marks that would come away with restoration (sand and varnish). Items are categorised as follows:
Excellent condition: New or as new, never used or, hardly used with very minor signs of wear
Very Good condition: used, shows signs of acceptable wear and tear
Moderate condition: used, shows obvious signs of wear and tear, needs some TLC though structurally sound
Poor condition: needs to be repaired to be able to be used
