Jasper Morrison for Cappellini Oblong chair, designed 2004. High quality red leather, beautifully crafted and in great condition. Originally commissioned by a Melbourne architecture firm, these bean bag chairs are a unique find. Filled with polystyrene beans, each chair consists of four pieces that are zipped together. There are concealed zips on the base where beans can be topped up. Two chairs are in excellent condition for their age with the leather showing very little sign of wear and as can be seen from images are very clean including the felt bases. Selling separately, there are actually three chairs available though one has some small cat scratches on it and might benefit from a leather specialist repair (further photos on request). Offering three for the price of two, otherwise individually. Originally purchased for around $6,000 each.
