Isokon Long Chair designed by Marcel Breuer. The design of the Long Chair spreads a person’s weight across a larger area than a regular chair, giving greater comfort.  Designed in 1936 by Bauhaus proponent Marcel Breuer, the long Chair joins the designer’s iconic pieces that include the Wassily chair and the Cesca dining chair.

The Long Chair is a reclining chair of laminated (birch) ply, the angled backrest and shaped seat of one continuous piece of moulded plywood supported by a bent plywood frame consisting of three separate elements.
