Hollywood Regency style Italian glass front drinks cabinet, c1970s. This Italian drinks cabinet display case has a fall front bar with white laminate preparation surface. The fall front enclosing a green velveteen backed fitted interior with open shelving and two drawers. The top module has smoked glass doors with a single glass shelf. The lower module with open shelf and two drawers. The cabinet is in two parts, the brushed steel sides slot into each other holding the cabinet neatly together. The black  grained veneer (vertical grain to the fall front and horizontal to the drawers) contrasts nicely with the lacquered painted surface. Fitted with chrome handles and fittings on moulded plastic bun feet. The cabinet is very heavy and could be free standing. The top has the same grained veneer with a centrally fitted opaque panel to let light in. The back is plain.

This cabinet if fitted with CEAM Italia fittings and hinges and is very much in the style of Willy Rizzo, Renato Zevi and Baughman for John Stuart.
