Eames LCW chair. The iconic "Lounge Chair Wood" was designed in 1948. An original design by Charles and Ray Eames, manufactured by Herman Miller from moulded plywood. The LCW chair was named by Time magazine as the best design of the 20th Century! (a locomotive came in second). Time described the design as 'elegant, light and comfortable.
